Your numbers.
Your business.
You can use every available calculator without an account, email address, or phone number.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your browser. The application does not send your financial inputs to a server, include them in page URLs, or send them to advertising or analytics services.
Saving a plan
When you choose “Save comparison,” that calculator’s inputs are saved in this browser’s local storage. They stay on this device and are accessible to people using the same browser profile. They are not encrypted. Choose “Clear saved” to remove them, or clear this site’s browser data. Resetting the calculator does not delete a saved comparison.
Local storage may be unavailable in private browsing or restricted environments. Exporting creates a file on your device; anyone you share that file with can read its contents. Clearing browser data may permanently remove your saved plan.
Website requests
Your browser still requests pages and application files from the hosting service. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request data, such as an IP address and requested URL, to deliver the site and maintain security. Financial inputs are not part of those requests.
Optional Google Analytics
Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics” in the footer’s Privacy choices. The tools work fully if you decline. Before consent, we do not load the Google tag or send Analytics requests. Your choice is saved under dollarmath:analytics-consent:v1 in this browser’s local storage until you change it or clear site data. If that preference cannot be saved, Analytics stays off.
After consent, Google Analytics receives visits to known DollarMath pages using static page titles and addresses. We exclude query strings, URL fragments, referrers, calculator values, saved comparisons, exports, user account identifiers and custom user properties. Automatic form and interaction measurement, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Google can still process technical information such as your IP address, browser/device details and cookie identifiers to provide Analytics.
Analytics runs only on the production domain. Its first-party cookies are configured to expire after 30 days without extending that expiry on each visit. Choose “No analytics” to stop future collection and remove accessible Analytics cookies. This preserves your saved comparisons and unsaved calculator inputs. Changing your choice does not erase information already received by Google. User and event data retention is configured to two months, with activity-based resets disabled; standard aggregated reports are not limited by that setting. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Referrers and campaign parameters are omitted, so acquisition and attribution reports are limited. Blocking Google requests in your browser can also prevent collection even after consent.
Advertising and contributions
This version contains no advertising network script or third-party payment embed. Future ads must be clearly labelled and must not use financial inputs for targeting. An optional contribution link, when available, takes you to an external payment provider. Its own privacy policy applies, and no calculator inputs are added to the link.
External references
Source links lead to external websites with their own privacy policies. The site uses a no-referrer policy to avoid sending the current page address with those visits.
Changes
We will update this page when data handling changes. Any account or cloud-saving feature will need its own clear explanation before you choose to use it.
